Greetings from Ireland

Hey up, as I’ve been told is the thing to say from here.

I’m currently in a cybercafe in Cork, trying to figure out how to type and not hit the damn # button that is near the return button. Other then that things are great. Tomorrow I am off for Dingle, then east towards Dublin.

That’s about it really, since I have no plans of spending my time in Ireland on the internet, I’d rather be drinking, of which I will be doing in a few. I’ll have one for you all.

I may update this in a few days, but I’ve only been here for just over two days and was at a swim meet for most of the weekend. At least I have been getting my share of the good beer.

Was this supposed to be in your Live Journal or something?

No it’s mundane and pointless and stuff so I posted it here!

Now for more pointless stuff, in Dingle now and the weather is really strange, had everything from hail to rain to it being really warm, and that was in 10 minutes. Not that it seems anyone cares anyway. So it’s off for another pint.

Didn’t take you long to go native, did it?

Dingle’s my favourite part of Ireland. The trip round the end of the peninsula is stunning. Make sure you go and see Fungi, and I recommend a trip out to Great Blasket island from Dunquin. There’s a mad-looking island beyond that (an Tiaracht) that’s straight out of Lord of the Rings.

How long are you going to be in Dublin? Are you going to try to hook up with any DubDopers when you’re here? We’re looking for an excuse for a pizza and a pint.

Enjoy the Guinness!

Hey, Ed, bring me back a redhead.
