Greta Van Susteren will always be the OJ Simpson trial reporter to me. I guess I’ll always associate her with a “sensationalism” school of journalism. And honestly, it’s her body, and she’s free to do what she wants with it, but shit that face surgery looks so phony. It is distractingly so.
It’s one thing if someone who doesn’t really follow politics thinks that way. But a news reporter should understand this.
Plus, while Trump didn’t run far to the right on all issues, he did run a thoroughly right of center campaign. Even his strongman stuff is an appeal to conservative values, not liberal ones.
Plus, someone who shills for Trump while also being thoroughly aware of how immoral he is (as he didn’t even try to hide it) is being a rather shitty person, in my opinion. Especially when there were still other choices for the Republicans.
And I believe duplicitous people who change their opinions based on what will make them more popular are kinda shitty. It’s one of the legitimate criticisms towards Clinton and how she would change to suit what was necessary. It made her inauthentic and effectively a liar, even if Trump is an even bigger one.
All kidding aside, when I first saw her I assumed she’d had a stroke or some kind if birth defect. Do we know what’s actually wrong with her face (for lack of a better phrase)? Her looks have nothing to do with her abilities and I feel kind of bad mentioning it here but since it’ been brought up . . . .
I can’t watch anyone who speaks without moving her mouth.
I usually catch at least part of GRETA! on MSNBC on Sirius on my drive home … and I’ve said for months that I can’t stand her. She’s just not a good interviewer or moderator. She has some ok viewpoints, especially around the legal side of things, but I’d much rather listen to anyone else (except Chris Matthews).

I had thought just because she came from Fox, she was a right wing shill. But she seems pretty straight to me. However, there is just something about her that I find unwatchable. The face? The voice? I’m not sure.
I second Megyn Kelly for the ambivalid treatment. She is without question the hottest news babe of all time, but I’m not happy that she gave air time to Alex Fucking Jones.
