Grotonian has been banned.
He was suspended for a month in September after receiving four warnings and a number of notes in a six-month period, including for trolling and failure to follow moderator instructions.
Now, less than a month after his return, he essentially trolled and derailed a thread, and then claimed he thought it was permissible to do so since others could just “post around” the hijack. Even after receiving a mod note telling him to take it elsewhere, he returned to get in a last word, earning him his fifth warning since March of this year.
After discussion in the loop, it was clear that there was not going to be any change in his behavior, thus earning the banning.
