In this new TV show on Discovery, the main guy always catches the snakes live, by hand.
However, from what I’ve read of the South Florida Python Elimination Program, hunters are allowed to use shotguns.
Is it just for entertainment value? Maybe to preserve the skins?
I mean, the snakes are all eventually killed anyway.
