I’m really, really excited about this game, and the list looks good to me. I’m really glad to hear that I don’t necessarily need to upgrade to PS3 or XBox 360 to play this now, although we may decide to upgrade anyway depending on what limitations are put on the PS2 version.
You mean like the current European-only early 2008 release date? 
Seems like a mighty big limitation to me.

Oh man I will so get GH3 for Mac. I wanted to buy a PS2 specifically for GH (like my bf did) but I don’t have the kind of money for that. Hopefully GH3 will be supported by my mac, but I was planning to get a new one anyway, so that would make me do it sooner. If I could play online with the bf that would be even more awesome, he’s 2 hours away.
I’m very happy that GH3 is coming to the Wii, cause that means I don’t need to buy a system to play it, but damn if no Rock Band on the Wii makes me cry. 
I’ve only played GH1 and GH2 on friends’ systems, and I don’t live near those friends anymore…my roommate does have a PS2 he doesn’t use (it’s not hooked up and needs a new AV cable,) is Rock Band coming out for PS2, or just PS3 and 360?

To answer a few questions:
Rock Band for the PS2 is RIGHT NOW only announced for Europe for an early 2008 release. I’m sure it’ll come to America, but it’ll probably also be after the new year. If you want to play Rock Band this year it’ll have to be on a PS3 or Xbox 360.
The Harmonix guys have mentioned they want to bring Rock Band to the Wii, but that has no release date as of yet.
