Ok i was looking threw a guitar catolouge(im not know for my spelling) and they had this one thing that looked kinda like a box and there was room for maby 3-4 guitars to sit up-right in. So, instead of paying over $150 dollars for a box to put my guitar in, i figure i could just make something close to it. My point is, has anyone seen a “plan” for making somthing like this? any help is geatly appreciated! thanks a lot
It would help if you could go back and look in the catalog and see exactly what it was called. A “guitar holder” seems to be a hook that you use to hang the guitar on the wall, not a big cabinet.
My local guitar store has tubular steel racks covered in material similar to pipe lagging to protect the finish of the guitars. These live freestanding on the floor, hold up to 5 guitars and cost about £50 (uk). Unless we get better prices than you guys, I suspect a better deal than the one you mentioned can be had.
How many guitars do you own? I have 4 and store them using 2 individual 1 guitar stands, one in each stand and one leaning against it. The design of the particular stands I use mean that this is stable and there is no force placed on the neck of either guitar. These stands cost about £20 each
it was called a stage guitar stand.
