I think he was just sharing a link of a site that he is using, not a site that he actually built.
propeller, if you are just posting a link to a site you like to use, you certainly aren’t breaking any rules. What da_pope was referring to would be if you ran the site and were promoting it here (for profit). That sort of thing is frowned on, but sharing interesting/useful information here is not against the rules.
yeah, i might have misread. If you’re using that site to help you learn guitar/piano, keep using it as a referance, it’s very well made.
If you made that site, my hats off to you, it’s really well done.
It does appear to be 100% free, and I didn’t even see any ads. I don’t know what the rules are regarding self promoting non commercial sites.
Either way, I do appreciate it being brought to my attention, I’ll be using it to brush up on some chord fingerings.
