PICKIN’ PARTY!!!
At least that’s what we call 'em around here. Everyone understands that it’ll be a casual jam session, but most will be there to display a hot new lick or two. I wouldn’t put something like this out as a general announcement to the world, but for a bulletin board or venue where you have an idea who’ll be responding it’d be ok.
Update: One of our Georgia Dopers has responded and I got one response from Zenster’s suggestion, craigslist.com. Just a couple more amd we’ll have us an accoustic "Pickin’ Party/Hootenanny!
