Gulf war disability.

I just heard on the news that gulf war vets have, by far, the highest rate of disability claims of the last three wars (WW2, Vietnam, and the gulf war). The reporter said that the largest number of these claims were for knee injuries, but didn’t elaborate. This surprises me.
What on earth were you guys doing over there to cause knee injuries?
Please, none of the obvious jokes, people.

Work like you don’t need the money…
Love like you’ve never been hurt…
Dance like nobody’s watching! …(Paraphrased)

Knee pain is one of the most common complaints of people who say they have “Gulf War Syndrome.”

Other than that, I think diagnosis of knee injuries is more sophisticated now with MRIs and such and perhaps more vets are getting their knee problems checked out more thoroughly.
