Luckily for you the constitution is a “living document”. You need only have a constitutional convention to amend it. It’s been done many times before, what’s keeping you?
Yes… and you’re a poopy head, so there.
I’m sure you were told this and believed it because it confirmed your biases, but it is complete horseshit. Century 16 theaters are the newest, nicest, biggest and closest to Holmes apartment. Take a look for yourself, then question your news sources. Why are they lying to you?
Keep dancing, nut. You amuse me.
Well that settles it. The closest “gun free zone” to his house or… he could have driven to Canada.
DISARM AMERICA!
Racist much?
The fact that such will never happen in your lifetime nor your grandchildrens’.
Just following your lead, sweetheart…
So what are you gnashing your teeth and clenching your fists about? There’s nothing to be done. You should move to Canada. Obviously the mass murder lunatics are afraid to cross the border; you’ll be safe, at last.
I’m bored and I have to earn your disability check in the morning, good night.
There is an elementary school one half block from his apartment.
You think hammers are comparable to guns? You must, else your point wouldn’t make sense.
So you’d be as happy being armed with a hammer as a gun? They are, after all, comparable. Right?
Calling someone else racist is not racist. It may be wrong in other ways, but it is not an example of racism.
What, and give up show business?
If there is one thing gun nutters have taught us it’s that the 2nd can be interpreted however the fuck anyone wants to, so how about you keep you ignorant comments to “foreigners” to yourself. K?
Gukumatz, you’re running into the comma controversy. I shit you not (just to test your comprehension ).
There is a whole controversy over the number of comma’s in the Bill of Rights. I make no claims on the following website except that I found it after about 2 seconds of searching on “2nd amendment comma.”
I’m guessing that you had no idea that
- comma’s were so important
- that it would change the meaning of the 2nd amendment by 180 degrees
- that some people that can’t string together a full sentence become full on grammar Nazi’s over their beloved 2nd Amendment
- that you’re running into this after an innocent copy paste.
You’re an idiot.
Mmm…or a nail gun.
Yeah, we’ll simply apply Occam’s Razor to Crazy People [sup]tm[/sup] and expect great results. End of story
You know, I’m starting to get the impression that when he advises people to change the Constitution, he isn’t really all that sincere.
But it says the right shall not be infringed. But it has been infringed. You can’t own a Thompson sub-machine gun, the Capone Amendment. What, no amendment? And they did it anyway? So did they break the 2nd Amendment’s jurisprudential hymen? What does it mean if it says it shall not be infringed, and it has been?
So, do we have to fix it? Put it right, put it back in its original state, so that your goofy cousin can own a grenade launcher to hunt armor-plated deer? Doesn’t say anything about what kind of arms, so we are stuck with all of them, yes?
If the Sacred Word is inviolate, how come its been violated? And why should we assume that once it has been violated, it cannot be further violated? Didn’t the Supreme Court accept that reasonable restrictions don’t violate the Constitution? That’s their job, isn’t it, saying what does and does not violate the Constitution?
Seems to me you pretty much got a choice. You can say that the literal wording is Gospel, and the right to bear arms shall not be infringed, but it has been, so fuck that. Or you can accept that reasonable restrictions are applicable, and that “not infringed” can be interpreted to mean “OK, but just a little”.
Either way, doesn’t seem to me that we need to have a Constitutional Convention to do what has already been done. Whether intentionally or no, that right has been infringed. That part is over.
