It’s also the same network that bleeps “Jesus” in certain contexts. I think the issue is when the programs air - the Daily Show is on at 7 pm EST (with reruns later) and South Park is on at 10 or 11. There are different standards for prime time vs. later in the evening when it’s assumed kids won’t be watching.

Nitpick: Not quite true. Here in California, South Park is at 10 (I’m pretty sure), and then Jon is at 11. Then I think they rerun South Park at 11:30 and rerun the Daily Show the next day at 7. I assume it’s the same everywhere, since neither of those is live. I don’t know if the censoring is different at 11 or 7.

It was actually Lil’ Jon singing that verse.

This in no way means I don’t agree that MTV sucks gigantic donkey balls.

It is actually Ludacris, but Lil John “raps” backing vocals, since that line is from one of his songs.

This song is a few years old, it may be due to the columbine killings.

Lost Cause was released in 2002. Columbine happened in 1999.

Hmm, okay try this: It might be due to any shooting around that time. Even a local thing or state thing.
Regardless, I can understand why they bleep it out.
