Nah. They’re still building C-130 Hercs too, and that plane entered service in 1957. It’s got a good 23 years on the Boeing.
Did that happen because the plane believed it could fly?
I’m shocked that 747s have resorted to eating each other. Are there no jeeps or motorcycles for them to nosh on?
Yeah, but they did just start running the J models off the lines pretty recently (last few years).
The legacy Hercs are still being flown, but not built.
