Had my first Chick-Fil-A today

Right, but we all look down on Dominos, and rightfully. The other companies somehow pulled off selling cheap garbage food and made the customers believe it’s classy.

I think the fries are supposed to be crisp on the outside but soft in the middle. My CFA is pretty consistent except for the fries. They can be anywhere from soft/crispy/salty deliciousness to limp greasy disasters.

The ketchup is great, however. CFA has generous tubs instead of the dumb little packets that hold a teaspoon of ketchup.

Oh, usually with takeout, I don’t care about the condiments or utensils, since normally I’m just going home to eat.

THANK YOU. I do like Chick-Fil-A nuggets every now and then, but Popeye’s is the best in the game.

The secret is to put no sauce under the cheese and only cut the one slice being lifted up by a spatula or hand.

To be fair, Domino’s used to be very much hot circles of garbage, but they turned it around big time circa 2010. Granted, it’s still not great, but still better and cheaper somehow than frozen pizzas (referring to the seemingly permanent $6.99 2-topping medium pizza “special”).

…I like Domino’s. Definitely not the best pizza I’ve ever had (that goes to local family-owned pizza places), but I enjoy it the most out of all the “fast food” pizza options (Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, Papa John’s, etc.)

Agreed. Used to be bottom-of-the-pizza-chain garbage to me, but now, I’ll actually order one from time to time. It’s more than just edible.

Huh, it’s the opposite where I live. Plenty of Popeyes but I’d have go way out of my way to find a Church’s.

It’s funny I just did an image search for “pizza” and a significant percentage of the results are whole pizzas with a single slice cut out like in that photo. I don’t know anyone or anyplace that cuts pizza slices one at a time. I realize that looks better for promotional photos, but still, that’s lunacy.

Exactly my take on them as well. I wouldn’t drive out of my way to eat there again, and if there’s anything I might like better in the general vicinity, I’d go there before doing CFA again.
