DoperGuy is considering getting hair restoration surgery. His hair is thinning, causing him a lot of anxiety.
We had an appointment set up with Bosley for later on today. I went online to find directions and instead found this. :eek:

There’s another site we just found after previewing that looks even more unsettling.
DoperGuy and I are really bummed out about this because he was really looking forward to finally fixing his problem. We’ve begun to search for other, more reputable companies to work with. Any suggestions, advice, or experience you have had with hair restoration would be greatly appreciated.
Propecia (finasteride) and rogaine (minoxidil) are the only two treatments for which there is solid evidence of effective hair restoration. One is a prescription medication, and one is a topical over the counter application.
Please note that I do not advocate either drug that I mentioned above. But they do work. Somewhat. For some people.

Some guys look great bald. Some don’t. I know nothing about hair restoration techniques these days, but I do know that the hairplugs my orthopedist has make me want to giggle whenever I see them, and he would look much better bald. I also have a friend who makes the most amazing hairpieces…if he hadn’t told me, and shown me a picture of him bald, I would have never known. Whatever he decides, I hope you are doing your best to make DoperGuy feel like he’s still a hot sexy guy, even if his hair is thinning.
