Hairspray Inhalation

My Honors English teacher is obsessed with her hair. At the beginning of every class, she can be seen by her desk, spraying hairspray all around. This happens in all of her classes, everyday. Would all of this inhalation of the hairspray be detrimental to her health and brain? (This woman doesn’t seem to have many brain cells to spare.) Also, can her students get second hand hairspray inhalation?

Well, generally speaking, you’re not supposed to inhale hairspray. Apparently hairspray is, technically, poisonous when inhaled, causing eye and respiratory irritation.

It’s also fairly commonly used in inhalant abuse (“huffing”).

So if you wanted to, I suppose you could have the teacher busted for it, for exposing you all to unwarranted hairspray vaporage.

My husband won’t let me spray it in the same room with him, but I’ve been inhaling it for years, and I’m not dead.

Yeah,
But you live in Shangrala, where nobody dies anyway
