Hal or Kyle?

Say, what? No votes for G’Nort?

Wait, did hal have the same weakness after he fused with the battery?

The weakness to yellow? No, he did not.

Did he have the same weakness to having all his loved ones and entire home city getting destroyed?

No, they really could only be destroyed the once, so having it happen again wasn’t really an option to bring him down again.

Did Alan Scott use his ring to make objects like Hal did back in the 40s and 50s, or did he just fly and shoot rays out of it? I’m not talking about retcon stuff like All Star Squadron, I mean in the comics actually published back in the Golden Age. I don’t think he used the ring all htat creatively until he met Hal in the 60s.

Originally, the ring allowed him to fly, walk through walls, was invulnerable to metals (bullets and knives and the like) and was weak against wood.

In the 40’s he developed the ability to read people’s thoughts using the ring.

Later in the same decade, he started to be able to create shapes with his ring, like giant hands to catch falling people, yada yada.

On the other hand, Hal went nuts about it after he’d gotten over it. The big “Hal copes with the loss of Coast City” issue was about #42 or so. Hal went nuts in #48.

Maybe it was destroyed twice and that’s what drove him nuts? Right? RIGHT?

Fenris

I don’t want to have sex with either Hal or Kyle.

Ok I’ll try here in a GL thread but in a Buffy thread I realized that the Buffy/Faith dynamic is very much like the Hal/Guy dynamic.
