This doesn’t make any sense. I mean, I understand that the player made himself ineligible, but how can you reasonably penalize the entire program for something it didn’t know about, especially when they DID take the proper actions once they knew something was wrong?
Thomas praises FSU for their actions re: the investigation, but somehow sees fit to penalize them for… ignorance? If it was willful ignorance I would agree, but in the absence of evidence of wrong-doing, this doesn’t seem to make much sense to me.
