Hello everyone, for my english class we were assigned to do scenes from the classic, Hamlet. Everyone did theirs live, but i managed to get my teacher to let my group do a video. In our attempt to do the least amount of work possible, we ended up doing the most work out of all the groups. It was intentional for it to look bad because orginally we were going to do “hamlet… from space” in a 1950’s B-movie parady ala Ed Wood. We ended up scraping the idea (even though we filmed most of it like that) and I plan to post the video of Space Hamlet in the future. In the meantime however, here is the submitted version that was handed into our class for your viewing pleasure and thoughts please … enjoy the show;)
Part 1 features the infamous grave digger scene and hamlets “to be or not to be” soliloquy
Part 2 features a scene where Hamlet is talking to Oric (horatio is absent in this version) prior to the sword fight between Hamlet and Laertes
