Hammer and sickle on Kennedy half dollars

Gilroy Roberts’ “signature” on the Kennedy half dollar is not composed of two stylized G’s set back to back, as Cecil says, but of the initials GR. (This is clear from a quick glance at the enlarged pictures of the coin available on many websites.) The G is done in a script style, and the R uses the G for its vertical line.

Now that I’ve pointed out a mistake on the part of the infallible Cecil, I suppose I better watch out for lightning strikes today…

He said it “looks” like two stilized G’s, not that it is.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Wrong answer. Thanks for playing. Enjoy your lovely parting gifts.

Did Communist saboteurs sneak a hammer and sickle into the design of the Kennedy half dollar?

In case other people were wondering about the Kenneth Kipperman part of the column, check it out here. The first third of the article explains about the stamp and the Holocaust museum.

While searching for the enigmatic hammer and sickle, I came across something else nearly as interesting: What appears to be the number 254, on the back of JFK’s neck just below the hairline (at first, I thought this was the GR monogram). Another mark of the Illuminati?
