Happy 21st, Haley!

Haley Joel Osment turns 21 today. Yes, I’m still a fan. These days, it takes either more effort, or a lot less, depending on how you look at it, but I am.

Not that he’s been doing nothing, mind you. Just that at this rate, you’d never know it. One film completed, another waiting for the actors’ strike :smack: to end so it can get started, and Home of the Giants has been sneaking its way onto DVD. (Region 2 ) And last fall, he was in a revival of American Buffalo on Broadway  with Cedric the Entertainer and John Leguizamo. (Unfortunately, it, uh, closed after one week. :()

And beyond that, he’s still a student at NYU (as far as I know). So all in all, doing his own thing in his own way in his own time. Still in one piece, no more [del]blatant[/del] trouble  since that one incident, and looking pretty darn good if I may say. :stuck_out_tongue:

So happy 21st, Haley, and I hope many more!

I see drunk girls.

I now feel very, very old.

Thanks.

Me, too, and I’m only 27.

Oops, never mind…

Who think they’re still sober…

6th Sense Kid is all grown up now, huh? How time goes by.

There’s one thing that, as an ALMOST-but-not-quite native French speaker (from Luxembourg, learned French very early) always sort of intrigued me: This kid who is the star of a creepy movie, has a last name that sounds, and is written, almost like “ossements” - which is French for “skeletal remains”.

He’s only a little over a year younger than me…and he’s already more successful than I’ll ever be.

Goddamnit…

I actually feel fine about this. I thought he was a lot more than 6 years younger than me.
