Although Mr. M. Mouse has become a much maligned figure over the years, he at one time was brash, fun-loving, and the biggest cartoon star in America. Over the years, he became more timid, and thus, not as funny. He retired long before his contemporaries did, but he was able to return in past years and become comical again.
I congratulate Mr. Mouse on his historic 75-year milestone. Happy birthday, Mickey.
