Happy birthday, color moviemaking

Happy 100th birthday to color moviemaking!

From Film Facts (2001) by Patrick Robertson:

It was filmed in a two-color additive process Smith invented in 1906 that would be introduced commercially in 1909 as Kinemacolor.

Kinemacolor projectors were eventually installed in some 300 cinemas in Britain; 54 dramatic films (all shorts) were produced in Kinemacolor in the UK, and 4 in the US.
