Today is the birthday of one of my most favoritest artists, Paul Gauguin.
For him, it was revolution.
I adore him. I’ve been meaning to purchase a couple prints. His colors are just…so…perfect. I actually feel warm and peaceful when I look at his paintings. Yup…he’s one of my all-time favorites.
Ah, good, yet another opportunity to recommend a novel I just loved to pieces: Vargas-Llosa’s *Way to Paradise*, which tells the stories of Gauguin and his rabble-rousing socialist grandmother in alternating chapters.
What are the odds? I just mentioned Gauguin in another thread.
