Hooray! There’s not much Dyngus celebration in Indy (plus, there seems to be some sporting event going on that I’ll be going to instead), but I miss the parties at the M.R. Falcon and the Democratic Club in South Bend. So much sausage, beer and boiled eggs…

Dyngus Day is also celebrated in Buffalo, New York.
It’s big (relatively) in Buffalo too.
A former co-worker of mine is running the Dyngus Day festivities these days in Buffalo. I kidded him that he was the Mel Kiper, Jr. of Polish festivals.
It’s fairly big in parts of Cleveland too. Do the pols use it as an opportunity to stump in Buffalo too?
