I wonder at how these are made. Is it computer assisted? Perhaps feed the closed captioning info into a computer and use that to piece together the appropriate clips to fit the lyrics?

I’ve always assumed the latter for any of these compilations. Search the closed captioning to find the clip, then edit it out. No idea if any AI might be used to make it easier these days, but I know that he’s been doing them for years.
