Last night, my son mentions that a friend of his is in the hospital from a snowmobiling accident, status unknown. We are halfway friends of the family, and I work with the dad on a professional level occasionally.
I text the dad, asking about his son. He replies “he is pretty bruised up and sore, xrays showed no broken bones, overall I think he’s doing well,thanx.” I reply with"if you need any help with anything, let me know." His response? “A massage would be awesome”

Dunno, maybe Canadian visitors to Mexico don’t get that you still should tip there, too.
