Happy New Year: it's 2015

In Detroit they encourage fireworks. Because the existing “tradition” is firing guns, including fully automatic, in the air.

Still two and a half hours from 2015 and a number of fuckwits are already firing mortars. (Fireworks are only legal here on July 4th.)

I just hope they wake up a number of two-year-olds who can shoot straight.

Happy New Year!

May heavens finest blessings shower down upon you, all year!

I was watching CNN in Times Square, and their clocks were almost 5 minutes slow. The ball dropped when my clocks and watches said 12:05. A while later, their time caught up with mine. Anyone else notice this?

I was watching from Central (Austin) and the ball drop was slow for us too. Happy New Year though!

Maybe they’ll have the tape synced up for us here on the West Coast…we’re watching Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin right now, on a 3 hour tape delay

Just want to wish a belated Happy New Year to everyone. The wife and I were visiting friends in Roi Et, Thailand at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s. Hope 2015 turns out to be a good year for you.

It isn’t October yet. There’s still a little time.
