I’ll admit it - I’d never heard of him until today, when this story showed up on my Facebook feed. Wiki makes it sound like he’s rather, ahem, colorful.

I remember Har Mar Superstar mainly for the weird name. I don’t think I’ve heard any of his material…maybe I’ll look him up on Youtube…

I think I got the name mixed up with Nardwuar the Human Serviette.
Looks like he picked up the name from the nearby Har Mar Mall. I thought the mall might have been owned/named by local entrepreneurs Harvey Ratner and Marv Wolfenson (original owners of the Minnesota Timberwolves), but it looks like it was named after a different owner and his wife, Harold and Marie Sawik.
