My mouse freezes up after a while of using the computer or dissapears. Anyone have any ideas as to what could cause this?
A conflict with the mouse using the same interupt as some other card,most likely a modem.

This started after coming back from a lan. I think it might be due to some diffrence in cables that I could never find too.
The mouse shouldn’t share an interupt with any other card. Pull the lan card if you not using it. See if it helps.

You know, you might give some more details. WAG is you are using Internet Explorer which does this.

Try pulling the LAN card, and if that doesn’t work, check to make sure your cables are tightly connected. If that doesn’t work, try swapping in another mouse to see if the same problem occurs (i.e., to see if the problem is with the mouse instead of the software). And if that doesn’t work, well, try calling tech support, if you have a support contract?
