I want to believe this is true; but then I think of my 85 year old dad who can barely walk across the room without his walker. ![]()
My grandfather died riding his motorcycle.
He was turning left when an oncoming car ran into him.
He was 80 years old.
My 88-year-old dad still skis and only gave up windsurfing a few years ago. But he doesn’t ride a motorcycle.
Those were shovelheads. Pre-Evo days, when you didn’t have a puddle of oil under you you called your mechanic right away.
I’m not a fan of the current Mother Company (I really did like the AMF days better for a lot of reasons) but I like the promotion/stunt in the general sense. I’ll be curious to see if its reported how many are still riding a year from now ------ and how many have crashed.
