Well, it WAS sorta alluded to before…Dumbledore in Hagrid’s cottage, Harry and Ron under the invisibility cloak, saying “At Hogwarts, help will always be given to those who ask.”
Although it would have been more apropos if he had said “At Hogwarts, help will always be given to those who shamefully brown-nose the Headmaster,” as Fawkes only bothered to show up AFTER Harry said that Dumbledore was the greatest sorceror in the world.
Yes but Harry did not ask for help. He made a loyal statement about Dumbledore. Harry was supposed to have asked for help. And yes I was annoyed by the phoenix solves everything.
I was also annoyed by the “I am an annoying one trait character/ arent’ I funny” of Dobby, Moaning Myrtle, the Durselys. And why did they cast a 36 year old woman for MM and why did she try to sound like the cat from Babe the Gallant Pig?
This movie was much better then the last one but in my book that is not saying much. I’ll give it a B-.
Anyway the trailer for LotR TTT was cool!
What I liked about this is that they actually made a MOVIE, instead of throwing a book up on the screen page by faithful page.
I thought it could have used a little more foreshadowing about the penultimate reason the Chamber of Secrets was opened (which is in the book), but overall this was a far better movie than the first.
That, and it was fun to come out of the theatre and say-- “I just loved it when they pulled that Uzi out of his hat. That rocked!”
Man, the looks on the faces of the crowd lined up was priceless 
I always referred to that ending as “deus ex Fawkesina”
