She’s referenced several times as a Muggle, but then she and his Dad met at Hogwarts. What’s up with that?
My husband thinks that people saying she’s a Muggle are insulting her as non-wizard-born. I think that in that case, they would have used a perjorative term like Mudblood, rather than Muggle, which is merely descriptive.
I can think of several instances where she’s called a mudblood. Anyway, Lily was definitely a muggle-born witch.
