Trump has specifically advocated stop and frisk and harsh policing as the cure for the troubles of the black community. He called for the execution of black teens after they were found innocent by DNA. He specifically called to deport millions of people. He said that Muslims shouldn’t be allowed into the country. His VP supports taxpayer funded anti-gay electroshock therapy.
Someone who says they’re afraid of being killed by a bear isn’t stoking fear if the bear is actually rumbling through their campsite.
Seriously Omg? There are people who are genuinely afraid. Maybe you think that there’s nothing to fear, but they obviously do and they have good reason. Show some compassion for those people rather than mocking them.
If you think that there’s nothing to fear then, rather than mocking them, you should explain to them why they need not fear and help them get over it.
I think the “reason” is because they are stupid. They’ve been led down the liberal garden path for so long they can no longer differentiate between reality and political fantasy.

This is a point where the Liberal - Conservative schism goes deep. Conservatives don’t “fear” the government. Liberals only fear it when they belong to a disenfranchised minority or special interest after their fearless leaders fail.

That will not work, I lived under Sheriff Joe and anti migration bills for decades and it is not only me who is a citizen that will ignore the straw man, the white wash and the insult that you are doing here. As I pointed before not all are racists but most Republicans do not mind much the racists that they vote for or tolerate, it is not a fantasy as much as you want to deny it.
It’s not just about the government. White supremacist groups are feeling emboldened.
One small silver lining is that Arpaio was voted out. (I assume that the “Sheriff Joe” you referred to is Joe Arpaio.)
