Lately it seems that states have been calling for bans on using food stamps for “junk food”
It just hit the news that Maine’s Republican governor le Page wants to ban using food stamps for junk food.
This comes on the heels of Kansas passing such a bill earlier this month:

And a Missouri Bill this month would not only ban “junk food”, but valso seafood and steak, thereby banning some arguably healthy food, too
