I understand these are Korean dishes, but dog is also served in other far eastern countries. Have you ever tried any of these dishes? What did it taste like?
I thought the texture of the meat was rather… ruff!

Once, when urged by a group of Korean businessmen I worked with. It tasted a lot like red pepper, since that was a key ingredient in the soup. When I tried to isolate the taste of a single piece of meat, it felt and tasted something like lamb. Then again, I’ve only had lamb a couple of times, and both times it was kind of stringy. I didn’t really like the lamb or the dog much. And contrary to the Korean myth, the dog didn’t do anything unusual for my libido.
Moved to IMHO.
