I saw it a few days ago. Is it just me, or does this movie make no damn sense at all?
Ok, I get, sort of, that they distorted a biblical quote to come up with the bit about the devil needing 18 beautiful young people to choose from to take early forms.
But why the hell were they cutting people’s faces off and putting masks on them? And how come the Dad didn’t seem to feel bad at all his action caused the other 17 kids to die? (unless they were already dead, but I don’t think so.) And what was with him finding the other dead kids - one with a mask- before that? Shouldn’t they have been kept alive too so they could be part of the 18?
A definite movie to make you say WTF?? that’s for sure…
