I mean people here, who would like to give me tips or feedback.
I’m thinking of installing cork floors - apparently they’re durable, warm and economical.
Has anyone used them before?

Well, all depends. Yes they are good insulation, and deaden footstep noise, but dont wear stiletto heals, or use furniture with really thin feets, or mught have a metal wrapped wooden leg where the metal is protruding down further than the wood. I had a flat with cork flooring in the kitchen, and where it did seem to not break dropepd dishes as heinously, stilettos or thin pointy stuff did damage them, the stiletto heals making cute little half moon shaped impressions…
Have you thought of bamboo flooring? Home depot has some very nice bamboo ‘laminate’ sort of flooring [it slams together like pergo though is nothing but slabs of bamboo laminated together] or Lowes sells ‘micro’ edge tiles, 2 tiles on a pergo type backing, they slam together like pergo and use a grout in a ‘cheezwhiz’ sort of dispensing can.
Well, this cheezwhiz type grout thing sounds interesting, but I really like the look of cork. I don’t wear shoes in the house now, so I don’t imagine that I would start once installing a new floor. I know that the manufacturer suggests putting felts under furniture legs to prevent damage.
So - any other thoughts or tips?
