Has anyone used cryogenically frozen razor blades

I saw some on ebay, they are 2x what normal blades are but i am not sure if they are really worth the extra money.

Does anyone have any experience with using these?

I have no cite, and may be wrong, but I think I read that a razor company did a study that proved they are no better.

And btw, what’s the difference between “cryogenically” frozen, and just frozen?

Probably about five to ten bucks.

The price of regular razor blades is already re-damn-diculous. And i can stick them in the freezer myself for free.

i get my blades on ebay. normal blades for a mach 3 go for about $1 each and cryo blades are about $2 each.

cryogenically frozen is about 300 below zero.

What is frezzing a razor blade susposed to do? I mean you aren’t USING it frozen (thank god) so any structual changes that happen to the metal aren’t permanet anyway.

It’s crap, right up there with magnetic bracelets and free energy machines. Save your money.

The latest scam for the audiphools is cryo’d vacuum tubes, speaker wire and other components - including a wall outlet available at any electrical supply house. I’m in the wrong line of work.

Razor blades will last longer if they are kept clean, but don’t blast them with water out of the tap, that will dull them.

I tried them, but they kept freezing to my face.

Wouldn’t electrical gear start superconducting and get super efficient at those temperatures? I guess the problems begin when you have to clad your electricity supply in pipes of liquid helium :o
