My coworker’s husband watches it all the time. The thing I don’t get is, he’s not stupid, at all. But he swallows everything they say without any filters. And to make matters worse, my coworker has been watching too.

Tell you what. I’ll take the challenge. I get my tv “news” almost exclusively from CNN/HNN. I can’t remember the last time I watched The Daily Show with Jon “No h” Stewart - or even Oliver since he apparently did the summer (something I learned here FYI). Can you offer me one piece of information that I got from CNN that compares with the wrongness of Fox News: 1. Consistently misrepresenting the party of politicians caught in a scandal (but always Rs shown as Ds, never the other way around) or 2. the photoshopped images referred to above?

I think the first time I was sure that Fox News was absolutely, irrevocably, irrationally partisan was back in the 2008 elections and the “Terrorist Fist Bump” incident. It took me a while to realize they were actually serious.
