What’s this about Kate Bush now?
I am NOT a Shrub supporter by any means but if this is a reference to
Carla Faye Tucker I fully supported her execution, she murdered 2 people with a Pickaxe who were in bed sleeping and on talking to the Police she stated that she Came every time she felt the pick enter a body, she was evil and “needed killin’”. Everyone on Death Row “finds God” and asks for mercy but if she (CFT) believed in mercy she would not have brutally murdered 2 innocent people, this woman was a waste of Oxygen.

Like others, I don’t hate Dubya, but I do find him a poor president and hold him in contempt for that.
IMNSHO, he’s a piss poor leader. One skill a leader needs is to be able to speak convincingly and persuavisefly on an issue. Dubya can’t give a speech worth a damn. Dubya couldn’t argue effectively with a high school debate squad.
I have a feeling his failure as a leader extends to other areas, also. If there should be disagreement amongst his advisors, a leader has to make an executive decision and enforce it, afterwards. Sure, he’s surrounded himself with very good advisors but if those advisors disagree, what happens? I feel that at Cabinent meetings, Dubya simply goes with the flow and let’s one side argue with the other. He probably goes with the side that argues the loudest or longest, carrying nothing for the substance of the debate.
A good leader would also acknowledge a mistake and do his best to correct it. I’ve seen nothing like that out of Dubya.
…in much the same way that a donut hole surrounds itself withe donut.
Credit to Dennis Miller, from before he turned to the Dark side.
Why? Do you support the tyrant in Havana?
You realize, right, that sometimes when something is morally correct, it can still be done badly?
Like, let me take the moral context out of this. Let’s say a doctor needs to remove a wart from my foot. He can do it properly and through all the normal channels or he can come at me with a knife, swinging wildly until the wart comes off. Granted, the wart’s off, but the foot is severely damaged in the process.
Get it?
I thought you would be posting about his mocking Karla Faye Tucker.
I see that you’re new here (welcome, BTW) so I won’t laugh too hard, but about the only thing milroyj “gets,” is beater’s cramps to a picture of Dubya.
Hopefully, after Tuesday, he’ll have to find a new hobby.
Thank you for the welcome, but I’ve been a lurker for well over a year. I’m well-aware of milroyj, but I figure I might try and be cordial. I kind of hope he sees the logic in it.
Although I’m not the person you addressed, I’ll take a stab at this one.
No, I do not support the ‘tyrant in Havana,’ however, I do not support policing the world, getting into the busniess of other countries, or picking fights, either.
Anyway, as to the OP, I hate what Bush has done to this country for just about every reason posted to this thread so far.
You know, I kinda thought by the time I got to the end of this thread, all the reasons for disliking GeeDub would have been used, and the subject exhausted.
Nope. Not even close.
Just a cursory look at what the jerk has done to the USA should convince you of the error of that statement. If “very good” advisors could help lead us to where we are now, I suppose we should be grateful he doesn’t have any bad ones.
If GWB hadn’t been born into the wealthy Bush family, I believe the best he could have been would be a particulary weasely used car salesman.
OH YEAH, that’s ANOTHER thing! I’ve been a devoted Kate Bush fan since 1981. The kind of nutter who’s flown to England for fan conventions. Twice! The kind who still has posters up on the walls (nicely framed).
If someone asks “who’s your favorite musical artist?” I can no longer just say “Kate Bush.” From 2000 til now, it’s been “Kate Bush. Uh, no relation!” Fuckity Fuck!
Luckily, my husband and I met because we were both Kate fans. I’m not a nutter alone.

Oh hell no, but the old geezer has to die SOMETIME. Bush’s pandering to hard-case Eliannappers sure doesn’t make me respect him MORE.
Gak, I hate when that happens.
One more, while I’m here.
Choosing Porter Goss to stink and muck up the already tattered up CIA. Anyone who was against an investigation into the Valerie Plame outing (nice that that was mentioned) should NOT be in charge of a whole bunch of CIA agents. Oh I’ll bet they hate him.
Goss has been holding up a CIA report into 9/11 that names names regarding responsibility. Congress requested it. It’s been ready since June (I think), and Goss is holding it until after the election. ARGGGGGGGG!
No, wait, another one.
Never in a million years did I think ANYONE could get me to actually FEEL SORRY for the CIA! Damned if Bush didn’t do it.
If hate is the right word, then for me it is because he tramples upon our liberties. It’s only made worse by his incessant invocations about freedom.
One more before I leave. This was buried in the middle of a long Washington Post article. George really cares about our safety, unless it might possibly hurt his fat cat friends.
anyone notice that the OP poster… dissapeared ? Any comments mr. op ?
I don’t think we’re going to hear from him. From what I’ve seen of him, he would really like to have Bush’s babies.
And with that frightening image…
