Have any underwater treasures or curiosities been revealed by Sandy's wrath?

I live in NYC, and it’s been nonstop misery on the news these past few post-Sandy days. I have zero problem with that. But all the hard news has pushed the soft stuff entirely off the airwaves and front pages.

So, I was wondering: With all the churning that the Atlantic went through during the storm, did any odd or valuable underwater objects end up on shore? Long sunken wreckage? Odd marine flora or fauna? Treasure?!?!

**IMPORTANT NOTE: **I am *not *asking about the intact objects, like boats and homes, that got smashed by Sandy and deposited in strange places inland. Please don’t tell us about that stuff – it’s already being described wall-to-wall on the news. Thanks.

Damn, wrong forum! Sorry. Can a mod please move this to GQ?

THANKS!

Sandy unearths remains.

Moved to General Questions for ya.

A bomb at Guantanamo Bay.

Apparently, New Jersey has a subway system!

Here’s a shark swimming in a NJ front yard. While sharks are not unusual, having one swimming in your front yard is.

I live just a hundred yards or so from Chesapeake Bay, and thought earlier today that the next few weeks will probably be prime shark tooth hunting time around Calvert Cliffs.

It’s fake.

Damn it! I should have known it was too good to be true. :smack:

The storm revealed the fabled Lost Treasures of Hoboken.
