My partner’s a barber in San Francisco’s Castro neighborhood and he does a lot of “skin fades” which as the name suggests, fades down to skin.

I had a Hindu neighbor, who prominently displayed a swastika on his front door.

He caught all kinds of shit for it; not surprisingly the local Jews “got it,” and publicly defended the man.

I’ve got a book of poems by Rudyard Kipling that was printed early in the 20th century. It sports a couple big, gold embossed Swastikas on its spine.

I keep it on a bookshelf next to my Semana Santa poster.
