You apparantly forgot about Al D’Amato deciding to ridicule Judge Lance Ito during one radio interview by speaking with a parody of a Japanese accent straight out of some WWII movie even though Judge Ito is a third-generation American who speaks perfect English without an accent and probably wouldn’t even know how to order dinner at a Kyoto restaurant.
You also forgot the infamous “Debby spend-it-now” ad and, since you’re claiming that criticizing outsourcing is racist the infamous “Chinese professor” ad.
Also, if you’re going to point to Democratic remarks regarding South Asains, why are you ignoring all the Republican comments regarding South Asian Muslims.

I thought about posting a patient reply to this, but as you’re simply defining terms in whatever way accommodates your simplistic world-view, I’ll let this one pass. I’m assured that others who read this thread without a particular ax to grind will learn just as I have to ignore your posts.
A patient reply would be welcome. A reply that involves twisting into knots explaining how one can take race into account without discriminating unfairly is not a patient reply, it borders on the legalistic.
Anyway, it looks like SCOTUS will put the final nail in the coffin this week, at least as it regards university admissions.
