Yes, twice. My husband ran some sort of a scan while in safe mode and was able to remove the malware. It did a number on my machine in the mean time. I couldn’t connect to the internet at all and it started running its own fake virus scanner.
After the second infection I installed AdBlock and have been fine ever since.

I’ve done that at work a couple of times. 
Adblock Plus on Firefox and I’ve had no malware issues. Chrome doesn’t seem to be as secure, so I dropped that a few months back.
AVG warned me of the virus before it hit. Running firefox too. IE is just too much of a target.
Not from SMDB, which I access from my iPad, but from somewhere. My laptop was infected by security suite or whatever it is about a half-hour ago. I’m following the directions on this site to fix it. Malwarebytes is scanning now. I wonder how long the scan takes? It’s the perfect ending to a really crappy weekend.
It depends upon how much stuff is on your hard drive. Sometimes an hour for machines with lots of stuff at my workplace.
Run it in safe mode.
