Have you been to a restaurant featured on a TV show or a movie?

**The Tasty ** (burger shop with about 10 seats) in Cambridge, Mass., used in Good Will Hunting,

**The Bow Street Pub in Cambridge ** also in GWH. BTW, Bow Street is shaped like a bow. Arrow-straight Arrow Street intersects it.

The Pirate’s House, Savannah, Ga., as Sampiro said, mentioned in *Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil *

I used to work in the Marblehead, Mass., supermarket, which later was a liquor store that was “redone” to be used as the set for the unnamed fake restaurant where Jake Gyllenhall’s character’s fiancee was murdered in Moonlight Mile. It was/is across the street from the store space that was used in the film as Dustin Hoffman’s and Jake’s real estate office at Washington & Pleasant Streets.

**The Parker House ** (hotel) bar/restaurant in Boston used in Inherit the Wind.

Le Chevre d’Or in Eze Village on the French Riviera, used in September Affair. The US Navy ship I was on while stationed nearby, in Villefranche-sur-Mer, is also shown in that movie, for about 6 seconds, as Cary Grant and Deborah Kerr ride up the hill to his mother’s hlltop villa, that overlooked the dock where my bumboats landed and picked me up. The **Welcome Hotel ** on the waterfront in VsM has also been seen in about a dozen movies, including Ronin, which also showed several street scenes of VsM.

The outdoor cafe in Piazza San Marco, Venice, Italy, used in several movies, none of the names of which come to mind.

I’ve also been to Katz’ Deli- (a scene in Donnie Brasco was also filmed there).
Guss’ Pickles- Manhattan- Posner’s Pickles in Crossing Delancey
Papaya King- 86th St and 3rd Ave, Manhattan- Seinfeld
John’s Pizza Greenwich- Village, Manhattan- Manhattan (The Woody Allen movie)
Puglia’s- Little Italy, Manhattan Big Daddy
Tavern on the Green- Manhattan- Wall Street, Ghostbusters, Made, and The Out of Towners.
Bendix Diner- Hasbrouck Heights, NJ Superman II, Boys on the Side

From Diners, Drive Ins and Dives:
Tick Tock Diner Clifton, NJ
White Manna Hamburgers Hackensack, NJ
Skylark Diner Edison, NJ
Jefferson Diner Lake Hopatcong, NJ

From The Sopranos:
A bunch of places; here’s just a few:
Holsten’s Bloomfield, NJ- Final scene (I live down the street)
Pizzaland North Arlington, NJ- opening credits
Satin Dolls Lodi, NJ- Bada Bing (they serve food)

The best hamburger in NJ can be had at a hotel in Morristown. It’s really, really good!

I’ve eaten at Sardi’s which has been in many shows and films. One that comes to mind is the episode of Seinfeld where Kramer “wins” a Tony.

I’d guess the Rainbow Room has been in a movie.

I’ve had a beer or two at the bar Drew Barrymore danced on in Mad Love.

Someone else mentioned it here, but I’ve been to Puglia’s in Little Italy, NYC, from the scene in Big Daddy where Sonny and Layla have their first date. The same little guy stands up on stage and sings songs.

I routinely ate in the cafeteria featured in Animal House, and eventually will drink beer in the bar featured in the same film. Although, I suppose it could get torn down since it has changed owners several times. I never had the chance to go while I was still living in the area, but I will be in the area again. That bar is in a really small town. Most people don’t know it’s there.
