Huzzah!
So after my bid was accepted, I went to a few other travel sites to see what I should have expected to pay the good old fashioned way, and I paid about 35% of it’s retailing for. I even went to Priceline itself to look up my hotel, and my bid is still 40% of their price. Pretty flippin’ sweet if you ask me.

What if I am traveling with a pet? Can I specify to Priceline that I only want a hotel that will accept pets?
Unless I missed something, you cannot request amenities or place any other sort of request with Priceline if you’re bidding for a price. You can select your area, star quality of hotel, and price. Whatever you get is what you get. It’s rolling the dice a little, but you mitigate risk if you make sure your selection is really what you want. I’m happy, and I’ll do it again.
