No, never unless you count this year when I retired. I got laid off from the job before that and it took me six months to find a job at half my previous salary.
In answer to someone’s previous question, in my experience employers can, and do, tell you to just leave before your time of notice is up. One job I gave two or 3 weeks’ notice and they told me to just go but they paid me for the weeks I’d offered to work. I think it was a security issue.
