Have you played this game? Have you beat it?

I downloaded the trial version and played it for 60 minutes (which is all you get before you have to pay for it). I came to several conclusions:[ul][li]This thing is utterly gorgeous in its full-screen version. Also, it is easier, because you can see the shells and stuff better. Definitely sets off the “ooo! shiney!” reaction. In spades. Maybe also in hearts, clubs, and diamonds.[]Level 6 in the downloaded game isn’t the same as level 6 in the Java game. In fact, I did not see that configuration in the 9 levels I got through before the game quit on me (see the above about a time limit).[]It might actually be worth the $20 they want for it.I’m not buying it.[/ul] [/li]Not only am I not buying it, I am not ever going to that website again. You just blink playing this thing and it’ll be 4 hours later without your even being aware time has passed. And it is addictive, with all the shiny stuff and the new fish you can free every few levels and then add to the fishy goodness swimming in the background. I already have enough trouble getting off the computer at night to go to bed, I don’t need to add this to the mix. If I did, I can easily see myself not getting any sleep for days at a time.

Argg! I spent the rest of last night on that damn level, and I’m sure I’ll be playing throughout today too, in between chores. Damn, damn, damn! I have to beat that level.

Maybe I’ll try downloading the larger version. Squinting at the small online version is killing my eyes & neck.

I’m just letting you know that instead of doing my paper, I’m playing this game. This is on your head picunurse! :stuck_out_tongue:

Not my cup of tea, but Ivylad got to level 11 before the free trial ran out.

Just so you know, I’m now $20 and several hours less than I was when I found this thread.

I got thru all levels 1-10 except level 8, which stops working, and level 6, which is too damn hard.

Since I got through level 6 I’m afraid to play the darn thing again. Now I’ve moved to Cubis It’s pretty and not very frustrating.

Sigh, finished 99 levels (I decided to join Gameblast). Damn, this thing goes on! More to go.

… and 100 was the last one.

OK, finally got thru level 6. WHEW!

Because I need an area of life right now with NO stress, I’ve been playing the “Relaxed” (no timer) version. Those of you that were having trouble with level 6, were you playing with a timer? (I don’t even recall level 6 – I’m on 40-something now… it’s a lovely game.)

Give Jewel Quest a try. It’s a very similar game. I have the full version.

Yes.

If you knew how many hours I’ve wasted playing these types of games, you would not have been so cruel as to introduce a new one into my life.

I finally beat the ten levels yesterday afternoon. Level 8 only froze up about half the time for me, so I was able to get though it.

After I beat level 10 it said “click here to download the full version” but when I did that, it said “product not found” or something. Probably for the best, anyway.

This game totally took over all my free time the past couple of days. This morning, I finally beat level 6. The last 4 (free) levels were downright easy after that one! I did them all during my son’s nap. Now I can get on with my life.

I can guarantee you it was for the best! I got addicted to this game right away and decided to download the full trial version. It looks amazing, but it killed my computer! :frowning: While I was playing my screen went white around the edges and then slowly moved towards the center until it was all white. When I restarted I couldn’t get anywhere. It just goes in circles around the first screen. Flander was up until 4:30 am last night fixing it. I got home today and it mysteriously restarted itself, and now I’m back to where I was yesterday. I have a paper rewrite due Friday that is a huge part of my grade for experiment psychology, and all of my files I need are on my disfunctional laptop!!

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!

PS
If anyone can offer any help or advice I would be forever grateful!
