My mother had fairly bad apnea and she was tiny. For some people it is just anatomical - the shape of your soft palate and how it changes with age. It’s not unknown for people to develop it as they age even if they’re as skinny as a rail.
Well, by zero leaks I mean I haven’t been awakened by air rushing out or making that raspberry sound, where I then have to get up and reapply the mask. I’m trying to avoid that sort of thing because it disrupts my sleep. Beyond that I’m relying on the MyAir app to judge whether the leaks are excessive. I’ve gotten a score of 100 two nights in a row. As long as it doesn’t wake me up, it’s fine. I feel plenty rested today.
