We’re going out with Mr. K’s family Wednesday (and I have no idea what the menu is) and then cooking for my family at my dad’s Thursday.

Nothin’ says “lard ass” like tyin’ on the feed bag two days in a row!!

I have to work at 5 AM Thanksgiving, and my wife is going to visit her fam, so I’ll be alone, but I hadn’t contemplated a menu. I may stop at the grocery store today and pick up the makings for grilled cheese - and - meat sandwiches. Or just some ground turkey.

When we lived in Cincinnati we went to the Golden Lambin Lebanon a couple of times for holidays. Their food is excellent, tending towards comfort food, but still posh. Here’s their Thanksgiving menu:

The place opened in 1803, so you know they’ve had some practice in getting this stuff right.
